Food at The Pear Tree Country Hotel Restaurant is a memorable experience and likely to be one of the chief delights of your stay. Menus are prepared with flair and creativity in a classic style, using locally grown produce.
Restaurant service is attentive and efficient, yet friendly and with a genuine desire to please. The aim is to create an environment of warm hospitality and a relaxing experience for all our guests.
An extensive wine list, chosen with expert care to enhance your enjoyment of the menu, provides the perfect finishing touch to the dining experience.
Breakfast
Served Mon-Fri 7am till 9.30am, 8.00am till 10.00am weekends & bank holidays
Get your day off to a great start with our signature breakfast. Choose from a traditional cooked or light Continental selection, including pork sausages and grilled bacon sourced from the local butcher, eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, selection of cereals, flaky pastries and breads. Or you can treat yourself to any of our classic dishes such as eggs benedict and smoked salmon or haddock.
We even serve a full English vegetarian breakfast.

A wonderful British tradition in a traditional British setting, The Pear Tree Inn & Country Hotel serves up a glorious afternoon tea. Spend a relaxed afternoon with friends sinking into the comfortable sofas whilst sinking your taste buds into the freshly baked scones topped with jam & clotted cream and sampling gorgeous cakes. If the sun is shining, why not take tea in the garden? It’s the stylish way to catch up with friends or celebrate a special occasion.
Make tea even more of an occasion by adding some sparkle with a glass of House Champagne.

Friday and Saturday 6.30pm till 10.00pm
Sunday from 7.00pm till 9.00pm

We know how important it is to make Sunday special, and we work very hard to ensure that the tradition of a good old fashioned Sample Sunday Lunch Menu - The Pear Tree Hotel is observed in full.
A roaring log fire greets our guests in winter, with the opportunity for an aperitif on our sunny terrace in the summer months. This is followed by prime cuts of meat, roasted to perfection and served with freshly prepared, home-cooked accompaniments
Finish off with a coffee in our relaxing lounge, and perhaps a stroll in our 20 acres of glorious grounds. It’s the perfect pause in a busy week, and a great opportunity to relax with family and friends.
Sunday lunch is served weekly between 12.00 – 2.00pm, advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
